The man found dead inside a vehicle after a shooting on Towne Centre Way in Hampton, Virginia, has been identified. Brandon Ward, an electrician at Hepaco and a graduate of Virginia Peninsula Community College, died abruptly after being shot multiple times on Friday. Authorities were reportedly called to the scene after a gunshot was heard. Authorities had just arrived in the Towne Centre Way parking lot when they spotted the guy. He was declared dead at the site.

According to Hampton police, Brandon was shot outside the Ruby Tuesday and Juicy King Crab House on the first block of Towne Centre Way shortly after 6:30 p.m. Officers from the Hampton Police Division responded to the incident. Currently, law enforcement agencies are investigating the incident and attempting to identify the shooter’s suspect.
