An inquest heard that the grieving mother committed suicide at the same location as her 16-year-old son had committed himself just eight weeks earlier.
Eight weeks after her son Ethan’s suicide, Camille Hardman, 45, recreated it in the same spot.
Few months after turning 16, her son Ethan committed suicide in October.
The court heard that his struggle with starting his first job, the death of his grandma, and the breakup with his fiancée all contributed to his suicide.
Days after his passing, his mother Camille began communicating her suicide intentions to her family and was soon taken to a mental health facility.
The doors were missing when her sister arrived on December 8 at her home in Walton-le-Dale, close to Preston, Lancashire.
The court was informed that Camille was nowhere to be located inside the home and that it is thought she left through the side gate to avoid being seen on a neighbor’s doorbell video.
An examination after her death revealed that the mother’s suicide was not the fault of mental health professionals and that they did everything they could under the circumstances.
However, it did raise “frustration” about how West Yorkshire Police handled Camille’s case after she went missing for three days.

“The loss of a child is unthinkable, but it was unsurvivable for Camille,” coroner Kate Bisset said during the inquest.
