After going missing for more than a month, a Bluffton woman’s body was discovered.
Celeste Cuthbert was discovered dead in the yard of a vacant home on Tuesday afternoon, according to the Bluffton Police Department. the finding following her disappearance on January 1st.
According to the police, the search for Cuthbert included drones, divers, and missing person flyers in addition to bloodhounds, which led investigators to a nearby pond. Police even requested that residents do a thorough search of their homes.
A representative from a company that manages properties owned by banks called the department on Tuesday. Cuthbert was discovered in the backyard when police arrived at the 400 block of Meadow Lane.
According to the police, Cuthbert was concealed from view in a yard between a shed and a wooden playhouse for kids.
