Domagoj Vida, a professional footballer for the Croatian national team and Super League Greece club AEK Athens, was born on April 29, 1989. His native language is Croatian.

Despite having the ability to play in any defensive position, he is typically used as a center or right back.

Vida participated actively on the Croatian under-21 national team .

He replaced Darijo Srna in the 80th minute of Croatia’s 2-0 victory over Wales on May 23, 2010, making his full international debut. Three days later, he played the full 90 minutes of Croatia’s 0-0 draw with Estonia.

Parents and Siblings

Željka Ursanić, Domagoj Vida’s mother, and former footballer Rudika Vida, his father, raised him in Donji Miholjac although he was born in Našice.

He was raised with his brother Hrvoje Vida.

Wife and Children

David was the first child Vida and his fiancée Ivana Gugić had together; they had him in 2015. In June 2017,  Gugić and Vida were married in Umag.
