Overview of Dr. Fisher
I specialize in general obstetrics and gynecology. I completed residency training at Barnes Jewish Hospital/Washington University in St. Louis, and medical school at the Perelman School of Medicine, University of Pennsylvania. I chose to specialize in obstetrics and gynecology because it offers the rare and unique opportunity to take care of women through all stages of life, from their first contraceptive choices, delivering their first baby, to managing the symptoms of menopause. The medical and surgical ways in which we treat women are constantly evolving and it's always exciting to practice in the frontier of medicine. In my practice, I aim to provide comprehensive OB-GYN services and I have a special interest in providing care for particular women's issues, such as transgender medicine, trans-abdominal cerclage for cervical insufficiency, and substance use/opioid dependence in pregnancy.
