Online acknowledgments have been pouring in for a prominent Dartmouth, N.S. rapper who kicked the container resulting to being injured on the Halifax waterfront early Sunday morning.

Halifax Regional Police have certified the setback is Patrick Wayne Stay, 36, and that his passing has been dealt with a wrongdoing.

Authorities were called to the 1600-block of Lower Water Street not long after 12:30 a.m. for a report of someone with a weapon.

Exactly when they appeared, they tracked down a male loss with cut wounds.

He was hustled to facility, yet passed on from his injuries.
