A man from Westmoreland County (Dustin Brant) perished in a Pennsylvania Turnpike accident.
Late on Friday, an automobile accident on the Pennsylvania Turnpike in Somerset County claimed the lives of two persons.
Our news partners at the Trib report that Pennsylvania State police were looking into the collision that occurred just after 9 p.m. in Jefferson Township close to the border of Westmoreland and Somerset counties.
Dustin Brant, a 27-year-old resident of Latrobe, was declared dead on the spot.
According to The Trib, Brant was operating a pickup truck that was discovered on the turnpike’s eastbound side.
According to Somerset County Chief Deputy Coroner Lexi Lichty, Brant’s cause of death looked to be accidental.
A man from Berks County was transported to a hospital following the collision, but he later passed away from his injuries the Trib said
