Edie Slifka, Motorcycle Enthusiast, Dies in Tragic Car Accident
Edie Slifka, a beloved member of the Cresco community and motorcycle enthusiast, died in a tragic car accident on September 7, 2023. She was 55 years old.
Slifka was riding her motorcycle on a rural road near Cresco when she was struck by a car. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
Slifka was a longtime resident of Cresco and was known for her love of motorcycles. She was a member of the Cresco Motorcycle Club and often rode with friends and family. She was also a regular at the Cresco Motorcycle Rally.
Slifka was a kind and compassionate person who always had a smile on her face. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

A memorial service for Slifka will be held at the Cresco Community Center on September 10, 2023 at 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Cresco Motorcycle Club.
