At the age of 96, Georgia Holt passed away on December 10, 2022. Cher announced her passing on Twitter.
Her death was not given a cause. However, Cher revealed in a message on Twitter in September 2022 that Georgia had been hospitalized for pneumonia and has been dealing with ongoing health problems.

The longest-lasting and most stable relationship Georgia Holt had was with Craig Spencer, whom she met in 1976. From 1976 until her passing this December, Holt worked for Washington-based antique merchant Spencer.
