In a distressing turn of events, the Rockdale County Sheriff’s Office announced on Saturday that the husband of a Georgia mother-of-four, who had been missing for over two weeks, has been apprehended following the discovery of her body.

Donell Anderson, the husband of Imani Roberson, was arrested on Friday night in connection with the mysterious disappearance and tragic death of his wife. Imani Roberson was last seen on July 16 in Conyers, shortly after departing from her mother’s residence. Disturbingly, her vehicle was later found burned and disassembled in the Atlanta area, approximately 24 miles away from the initial location.

Imani Roberson had spent time with her four kids at her mother’s house on the day of her abduction, enjoying a special family dinner. After the event, Roberson returned to her own house with two of her kids, who were 3 and 1 month old. The sheriff’s office confirmed that the grandmother continued to care for the other two kids, who were 11 and 9 years old.

The next day, when Clarine Andujar-White tried unsuccessfully to get in touch with her daughter, she grew more worried about Imani Roberson. She went to her daughter’s house and found the strange absence of both Imani Roberson and her kids. On July 17, Andujar-White immediately reported her daughter missing, launching a search effort.

Our prayers continue to be with Imani Roberson’s family and friends as the investigation progresses. As more information about this extremely regrettable tragedy comes to light, we will make an effort to update this page.
