Blake Lively rose to international prominence after starring as Serena van der Woodsen in the critically acclaimed series Gossip Girl.
Previously, she had starred in The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants. Blake went on to appear in Green Lantern, Age of Adaline, The Shallows, and A Simple Favor, among other films.
Blake became the envy of many when she married actor Ryan Reynolds in 2012. Blake credits her parents, Ernie and Elaine, for a large part of her acting success.
She stated to W Magazine
My parents always taught acting, so instead of finding babysitters, they would bring me to class. And because I’m naturally shy, it was extremely beneficial. If I hadn’t been in their class, I would have been hiding under the table, pulling on my mother’s dress.
Before marrying Ernie, Elaine was previously married to Ronnie Lively.
Lori Lively, Ronald Live, and Robyn Lively were kids from her first marriage. After marrying Elaine, Ernie became the stepfather of the three children.
