Jean the dragon is a bit harder on bedrock because crystals do not render in as far as on Java. The Wither. Correct me if I’m wrong but I am pretty sure that the Wither does not have special attacks such as dash on Java. I have not beaten the Wither on Java yet.

To find the stronghold, throw an eye of ender into the air, and it will float upwards in the direction of the nearest stronghold. It will then fall back to the ground and you can pick it up and throw it again. However, the eye has a chance of breaking when you throw it, so bring at least 15 eyes to spare. Follow the ender eyes until they float downwards, which will indicate that the stronghold is underneath you. The easiest way to destroy the crystals is to shoot them with your bow or crossbow. You should move so that you can see it at least partially, aim your shot just above the crystal from your view, and adjust your aim if needed. When destroyed the crystal will generate a massive explosion. If you have not seen the explosion, you will know that it has been destroyed by hearing for the explosion sound. You should always shoot the crystals on the shortest towers because they are the easiest to shoot, and if you are using a crossbow you should check how many arrows they have after every shot.
It can be used to put out lava that is encountered while looking for the end portal. In the End, if the player falls off a tower and doesn’t have enough ender pearls or slow falling potions, players can try to place a water bucket below their feet just below they land (water bucket MLG). Water can also help them deal with provoked endermen. If an enderman is pursuing the player, dump the water at their feet (or yours) and the enderman will take damage and teleport away. The water will also neutralize the enderman on java edition and it will ignore the player again.
Sword. The sword (ideally diamond or netherite) is used to damage the dragon on its perch as it is immune to arrows at this time. A secondary use will be for provoked endermen . Enchanting the sword is highly recommended. Sharpness is very useful, as it increases your damage on both the dragon and endermen.
Which is better, Java or Bedrock?
Summary: Bedrock seems to be the easiest and is more suited for smaller kids and phone/controller users. Java is better for PC’s.

Hunger. Both games have completely different hunger and saturation mechanics, and Bedrock not only heals the player slower, you’re required to eat more on average. The difference might not be that important, but food is powerful in Java, and Java players don’t like giving up that tool for something that seems more like a maintenance survival mechanic in Bedrock.
Mob spawning. Mob spawning has been broken for a long time in Bedrock. While Java has a clear set of rules for balance mob spawning, Bedrock has a nonsensical one that isn’t very easily worked with. Mob farms are much more annoying to build in Bedrock.
As the base game (dis cluding controls) Bedrock is certainly easier than Java. Combat from Java was not fully ported to Bedrock (it was, but in a less frustrating way), Bedrock lacks gamemodes like Spectator and Adventure. Gameplay wise, Bedrock is harder.
This is on the grounds that Bedrock just has add-on packs, which are paid packs that you can purchase to add to your game.
It depends on which device your playing on, by the wording of the question Ill assume you’ve played Java edition. This would mean you play on PC, in which case playing on mobile or even console would be harder. However Java edition has more content (technically) and mods exist, along with more servers. Java is usually also updated first which gives you less warning about what’s coming, these things combined makes Java quite a bit harder assuming your playing on PC specifically.
