Two people, a male and a woman, were shot and killed late on Friday night in Homewood North, according to Pittsburgh police.
The shooting took place just before midnight on Frankstown Avenue close to Brushton Avenue, according to the authorities. The two victims of gunshot wounds were discovered by first rescuers.
The killing took place in front of Denise & Earl’s.
Action News 4 in Pittsburgh received confirmation from the families that the fatalities were Janell “Nelly” Ross and Damien “Day Day” Nance.
At the scene, the two were declared dead. No reports of any seizures have surfaced.
