Jeffrey Robinson, a resident of Paterson, New Jersey, passed away in a deadly accident that occurred on Route 4 in Paramus. He was driving his Toyota Supra when he crashed into the back of a tractor-trailer next to Houlihan’s restaurant. Unfortunately, he died as a result of the accident. Jeffrey Robinson was the son of a former Paterson police detective who is now retired from the force. The accident occurred on April 15, 2023, at around three in the morning.
Investigation details of the accident
When the responding officers arrived at the scene, they discovered Jeffrey Robinson’s lifeless body jammed behind the dashboard of his vehicle. They tried to revive him by performing CPR but to no avail. The ambulance transported him to Hackensack University Medical Center, where he was declared dead. The rear-ended tractor-trailer was found parked near the ramp leading to the northbound side of Route 17. An investigation is still ongoing at this time.
Fatal accident of Kristy Garcia-Brito
Another fatal accident occurred on Route 206 North near the intersection of Somerset Street. The accident occurred on March 10, 2023, at around 2:17 a.m. Kristy Garcia-Brito, a 24-year-old Bridgewater resident, was the only occupant of the Mazda 3 car she was driving when she lost control of the vehicle while navigating a bend. She collided with the curb and an adjacent utility pole. Unfortunately, she was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Somerville Police Department and the Somerset County Prosecutor’s Office Collision Analysis Reconstruction Team are currently investigating the accident. The New Jersey State Medical Examiner’s Office will perform an autopsy to determine the cause and manner of Kristy Garcia-Brito’s death.
