Tragic Loss in Bucklin, Kansas Explosion
A community is left in mourning as Ford County Sheriff Bill Carr delivered a somber announcement regarding a devastating explosion that shook the town of Bucklin, Kansas. The victims of this catastrophic incident have been identified as 29-year-old Jerry Isakson, 28-year-old Robin Hamilton, and their 19-month-old child, Stormy Isakson. Another individual, aged 26, was also affected and is currently in critical condition after being airlifted to a Wichita medical facility.
The heart-wrenching events unfolded shortly before 5:30 PM on a Saturday, with multiple reports of an explosion in the 100 block of W. Center Street flooding Ford County dispatch. Law enforcement agencies, including the Ford County Sheriff’s Office, Ford County Fire Department, EMS, and Bucklin Fire Department, quickly responded to the scene.
Tragically, upon their arrival, the lifeless bodies of three victims were discovered inside the building, which have since been identified as Jerry Isakson, Robin Hamilton, and their young child, Stormy Isakson. The fourth individual was also found and promptly transported to the hospital for medical attention.
