Tragic Accident Claims the Life of Jon Eric Darling in Becker County
In a devastating incident, Jon Eric Darling, aged 61 and hailing from Fargo, lost his life in a fatal all-terrain vehicle (ATV) accident in rural Becker County. The tragic accident occurred on Saturday, September 16, and has left family, friends, and the community in mourning.
The Becker County Sheriff’s office was alerted to the incident shortly after 5 p.m. on Rat Lake Trail in Eagle Township. It was reported that Mr. Darling, while driving an ATV, collided with a tree along the trail west of County Highway 35. Despite the efforts of emergency responders to save him, their heroic measures proved unsuccessful, resulting in the tragic loss of Jon Eric Darling’s life.
