An early Saturday morning pickup truck accident claimed the life of a guy from Walnut Grove.
A Dodge Laramie being operated by a 39-year-old male was traveling up a hill close to the Mutton Creek Marina & Campgrounds at Stockton Lake at roughly 1:50 a.m., according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report.
27-year-old Kelby Fortner died after falling off the tailgate of the vehicle as it ascended a hill.
