Bradford Regional Medical Center reported the death of Michael L. Blaisdell, 31, on April 27, 2023. He was a resident of 11 Venango Street.
He was the son of Jeffery G. and Joan M. (Parrett) Blaisdell and was born on May 29th, 1991 in Bradford.
Mike graduated from Bradford High School in 2009 and participated in music and track and field throughout his time there. He participated in the marching band at Penn State Behrend, where he studied. The Bradford campus of the University of Pittsburgh is where he completed his studies.
Mike’s job at the Bradford USPS branch was that of a window clerk. He liked to go hunting and shooting with his pals in the fresh air.
Jeff and Joan Blaisdell of Bradford; their son David Blaisdell also of Bradford; seven aunts, including Tina (Darryl) Hilmes and Carla (the late Mark) Hervatin, Elizabeth “Renie” (Terry) Fitzgerald and Ruth (Dan) Whitman and Jan (Rod) Marcellin and Tricia (the late Joe) Lundgren and Tammy (Jerry) Barrett; and many grand nieces and nephews.
His parents, Gordon and Marjorie Parrett, his paternal grandparents, Harold “Skip” and Dawn Blaisdell, and an uncle, Thomas Parrett, all passed away before him.
Memorial services will be held on Saturday, May 6, 2023, at 7:00 pm, immediately following a visitation from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes Inc., 33 South Avenue. Lafayette Cemetery is being chosen for interment.
The funeral services are being coordinated by Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes Inc.
Donations in memory of the deceased may be made to the organization of the donor’s choice.
