Kaitlyn Easson, a resident of Galashiels’ Langlee neighborhood, vanished at around 5.45 p.m. on Sunday.

A second night of the urgent search for an 11-year-old girl reported missing in the Scottish Borders is planned.

At around 5.45 p.m. on Sunday, Kaitlyn Easson, a resident of Galashiels’ Langlee neighborhood, was last seen at the town’s transportation hub.

A further potential sighting of the youngster was reported ten minutes later, close to the Melrose Road neighborhood near the Queen Centre sports complex and traveling toward her house.

This might indicate that she was going home alone, the police stated.

The 11-year-old was dressed in a white sweater, brown pants, and dark boots and is described as being around 4 feet 11 inches tall, having a slender body, and long blonde hair.

Police Scotland has asked anybody with information on Kaitlyn’s whereabouts or who may have seen her to call 101 and reference incident 3314 on February 5, 2023.
