In addition to being a board-certified family physician, Dr. Ned H. Chambers is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP). He attended Stanford University on the football scholarship that the university awarded him during the years of 1969 and 1973.

He attended the University of Cincinnati School of Medicine for his undergraduate and graduate education in medicine.

iDr. chembre is a native San Diegan who was born and raised in Point Loma, where he also received his secondary education. He attended Point Loma High School. Upon the completion of his undergraduate work at Stanford University, he went on to complete the remaining requirements for his medical degree at the University of Cincinnati. He is a practicing physician in the city of Cincinnati at the moment.

Following the completion of his residency program in Fresno, California, he returned to Point Loma, his hometown, and established the Shelter Island Medical Group there. Dr. Chambers has devoted his whole professional career to achieving his long-term aim of providing residents of his neighborhood and all of San Diego with access to medical care that is both of high quality and affordable for them.
