Obituary | Roderick Moss Jr found dead in the Russell neighborhood

The Jefferson County Coroner’s Office has identified the man found dead inside a vehicle in the Russell neighborhood Saturday.

He’s been identified as 32-year Roderick Moss, Jr.

The cause of death was determined to be a gunshot wound.

Louisville Metro Police say a little before 8 a.m., First Division officers were dispatched on the report of a man inside a vehicle in the 1500 block of West Chestnut Street. That is a couple of blocks west of Central High School.

When they got there, they discovered that Moss was dead.

LMPD’s Homicide Unit is continuing to investigate.
