A pregnant destitute mother was shot in the head Wednesday morning as she and her three youngsters dozed inside the family’s rental vehicle in Florida, police said.

The group of five was resting in their vehicle across the road from the Martin Luther Ruler Jr. Entertainment Complex in Tampa Cove when the dad saw headlights from a dull shaded, 2-entryway car pull before their rental vehicle at 4:30 a.m., as per police.

The shooter quickly discharged shots at the family’s vehicle prior to escaping.

The pregnant mother, who is in her 20s, was shot in the head, however supported a non-dangerous injury. She was taken to an area medical clinic.

The dad and the three kids — a 9-year-old young lady, 4-year-old kid and 3-year-old young lady — were not harmed, cops said.

The shooter was still running wild early Thursday, police said, adding the assault has all the earmarks of being irregular.

The family told police they had as of late moved back to Tampa subsequent to living out of state for a couple of months. A relative of theirs in the city didn’t have space to house them, so they had been residing in the rental vehicle.

Through Decision Inns, the Tampa police assisted the family with tracking down brief lodging.

Tampa police purchased the youngsters McDonald’s morning meal after the damaging assault, the office said.
