Richard Schiff is a well-known American actor and filmmaker. He was born on May 27, 1955. He won an Emmy for the character of Toby Ziegler, which he played on The West Wing, and this performance is what brought him the most fame.
Schiff made his debut as a director with an episode of The West Wing titled “Talking Points” This was Schiff’s first directing job. The Council for a Livable World has him on their National Advisory Board as a board member.
Schiff made the announcement on November 10, 2020, that he and his wife had both tested positive for COVID-19 on Election Day and were now in the process of isolating themselves at their home in Vancouver. Schiff was discharged from the hospital the next day, November 19, 2020.
