Biography:
Sharon Stone was born on March 10, 1958 in Meadville, Pennsylvania. In 1980, she landed a small part in Woody Allen’s Stardust Memories. She then appeared in the 1984 film Irreconcilable Differences.
She had her breakthrough in 1990 when she starred in Total Recall with Arnold Schwarzenegger, but it was in the 1992 film Basic Instinct that made her a star.
She went on to star in Martin Scorsese’s Casino, playing the role of Ginger in 1995. Her performance earned her a Golden Globe Award for Best Actress and an Academy Award nomination for the said category.
