Tucker Bushhorn, a longtime resident of Westport, Indiana, tragically passed away at a young age in a motorcycle accident.

Zee Williams, a friend and a coworker announced Tucker’s passing on Facebook on Sunday, May 7, 2023. According to early reports, Tucker was hurt on May 7 and died early on Sunday morning.

(Hammond) Bushhorn, he was born in Lafayette on September 6, 1999. He moved to Decatur County when he was six years old.

He obtained a South Decatur High School diploma in 2018 and an Indiana University bachelor’s degree in 2022. He had previously been employed with TQL in Indianapolis.

Tucker belonged to the Westport Baptist congregation. He loved riding his motorcycle and dirt motorcycles, as well as fishing, golfing, and hunting. He cherished the time he spent with his loved ones and friends.

Tyler (Olivia) Bushhorn of Westport, his brother Savannah Bushhorn of Westport, his grandparents Dennis & Ellen Bushhorn of Westport, and William & Virginia Hammond of North Vernon survive him.

He is also survived by his parents, Thomas & Priscilla Bushhorn of Westport. The funeral will be held on Friday, May 12, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. at the Bass & Gasper Funeral Home in Westport, with visitation beginning two hours earlier.

The celebrant will be Pastor Gary Haines. There will thereafter be a burial at Westport Cemetery.

The funeral home will be open for visitors on Thursday, May 11, 2023, from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Through the funeral home, memorial donations can be given to Southeastern Baptist Youth Camp. Visit to send the family an online condolence message.
