Tributes are falling like raindrops as another movie titan passes away this week. Susan Roces‘ death has been mourned by the Philippine film and television industries.
In a social media post, her daughter Senator Grace Poe and nephew Lawrence Cruz Sonora confirmed her death. She was 80 years old.

The actress was the widow of the late Ronald Allan Kelley Poe, better known as Fernando Poe, Jr., who passed away nearly two decades ago. Senator Poe, one of Susan’s kids said in a statement to the press that her mother died peacefully on Friday evening, (May 20).
She died of natural causes, however, the autopsy report which is set to be released in the course of the week would provide more insight into her demise hence her death remains an unsolved mystery.
While she breathed her last breath, the senator, her nephews Joseph and Jeffrey, as well as many of her family and close friends, surrounded her.
