Where did Armand Duplantis go to high school?
Having already held the pole vault world title, Armand Duplantis broke his past record in Oregon by clearing 6.21 meters.
The Swedish Olympic champion cleared 6 meters for the first time to win the gold medal. None of his competitors were able to surpass 5.94m. On his second attempt, Duplantis broke his own world record of 6.20m, which he had set in March in Belgrade.
He has now broken the world record for the fifth time in just a matter of a couple of years five times.
