Jemaine Atea Mahana Clement, a New Zealander actor, comedian, musician, and filmmaker, was born on January 10, 1974.

In the American comedy Gentlemen Broncos, which is helmed by Jared Hess of Napoleon Dynamite, Clement also has a part. He was nominated for the Independent Spirit Award for Best Supporting Male for this performance.

Despite the mostly poor reviews for Gentlemen Broncos, some observers applauded Clement’s performance. He starred in Dinner for Schmucks and played Jerry in the 2010 animated film Despicable Me.

In Rio in 2011, he gave the voice of Nigel, and in Men in Black 3 in 2012, he played Boris the Animal, the major adversary. In 2012, Jemaine and Taika Waititi collaborated on the vampire spoof movie What We Do in the Shadows, which they also co-wrote, co-directed, and appeared in.

Where did Jemaine Clement go to college and high school? Did Jemaine Clement go to film school?

In Masterton, Jemaine Clement attended Makoura College. After high school, he moved to Wellington and enrolled at the Victoria University of Wellington to study acting and film.

He met Taika Waititi there, and the two went on to establish The Humourbeasts and So You’re a Man together. In 2004, the Humourbeasts staged The Untold Tales of Maui, a play that reinterpreted the well-known Maori legends of Maui.

The Billy T Award, the top comedic prize in New Zealand, was given to the couple. While in college, he also met Bret McKenzie, with whom he eventually founded Flight of the Conchords, which they later performed in Edinburgh.
