Jamie Campbell Bower attended Bedales University and was formerly a member of the National Music Theatre. He was born and reared in London.

Alongside other Harry Potter players, he starred in Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street in 2007, which marked his first significant cinematic role.
Bower appeared in RocknRolla, directed by Guy Ritchie, in 2008. He also played Jack in the Dutch film Oorlogswinter, which was also released that year.
Campbell Bower originated the character of Caius Volturi, the leader of the vampires, in the movie version of Stephanie Meyer’s book The Twilight Saga: New Moon. Campbell Bower then returned to the role in the films The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Parts 1 and 2.
In the 2013 movie The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones, which was based on the first book in Cassandra Clare’s The Mortal Instrument series, Bower played Jace Wayland.
