Tatum High School will host a prayer service for football player Braden Mimbs on Sunday at 4:00 p.m.
Sadly, Mimbs passed away last Friday.
Athletic Director and Head Football Coach for the Eagles Whitney Keeling posted on Twitter, “I’m so devastated this morning. This life is priceless. Say you love your kids and give them a big bear hug. You never know when a hug might be the last one you share. Yesterday evening, I buried one of my boys. Anybody that plays for me is my kid, whether or not we share a bloodline. For all intents and purposes, he was my own. My heart is devastated for my Tatum family. Please pray for them.
This past season, Mimbs wore No. 5 on the Eagles’ uniform and contributed as a running back and linebacker.
