However, Cortana is still able to temporarily maintain her presence aboard the Infinity as it flees delivering a final threatening message.
She is the first character in the Halo Saga to turn from a hero into an antagonist. Cortana could be the Greater-Scope Villain of the Reclaimer Saga, having a command to all the important species of the Halo Universe.
